My children had their first appointment with Dr. Hisaw today, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. I went into this appointment with a great deal of anxiety because my autistic son had never been to the dentist before, and I was convinced it would be a difficult visit. Instead, Dr. Hisaw and his entire team were incredibly welcoming, patient, supportive, and understanding from the moment we walked through the door. This office genuinely felt like a judgment-free zone. As an autism mom, I sometimes carry a lot of guilt and worry about the challenges that come with my son’s oral care. Dr. Hisaw was not only knowledgeable, but also approachable, compassionate, and down-to-earth. The encouragement and reassurance he offered meant more to me than he could possibly know, especially because it was so genuine and completely unsolicited. Dr. Hisaw is, without a doubt, the most authentic and caring dentist I have ever met. He took the time to thoroughly examine both of my children, explain every step of their treatment plans, and provide practical tips and information that will help us continue their care at home. Dr. Hisaw is fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable and completely down to earth. We took our 6 week old for a tongue tie correction and could not have had a better experience. Having a procedure done on a baby is nerve wracking, but we knew after the consultation that we were in good hands. Looking forward to bringing both of our children here in the future.

My children have been going to see Dr. Hisaw and his team for several years. I can't say enough good things about them! The staff is always very kind and communicative. Dr. Hisaw is honest, kind and talkative, always asking the children how they're doing and is genuinely interested. Their dental care is thorough, and I appreciate that they are mindful of not doing unnecessary x-rays or procedures. If they suggest having something done, it's needed. My children actually look forward to visiting the dentist, which I feel speaks for itself. I have recommended this practice to many people and will continue to do without reservation.

We absolutely recommend Dr. Thane Hisaw! He is an outstanding pediatric dentist who truly takes the time to get to know each of his patients. His genuine patience and compassion make every visit a positive experience, no matter the child’s age. Dr. Hisaw has a special way of making kids feel comfortable, and he empowers older children by teaching them how to take responsibility for their dental care. Even though his office isn’t close to our home, we gladly make the drive because the care he provides is well worth it. We highly recommend Dr. Hisaw to any family looking for a kind, knowledgeable, and dedicated pediatric dentist!
